Project Overview
Developers Oxford Properties Group and Pappas Enterprises Inc. envision creating three new city blocks with open spaces and streets. The project includes two six-story residential buildings offering 205 units, the details of which are still under consideration for affordability and housing options.
Commercial and Mixed-Use Spaces
Plans feature a five-story mixed-use commercial building and a one-story civic pavilion with ample open space. The proposal also includes the construction of four research laboratory buildings, offering spaces for various purposes including retail and wellness options.
Community Engagement and Flexibility
Developers emphasize the importance of community input in shaping the project's vision. They aim to create an inclusive and vibrant development that integrates seamlessly with the neighborhood. The project is designed with flexibility to adapt to future commercial space needs, aligning with Boston's innovation-driven landscape.
The proposed development seeks to blend residential, commercial, and lab spaces into a cohesive community. By engaging with stakeholders and prioritizing flexibility, developers aim to create a vibrant and inclusive environment for both new and existing residents and businesses.
