Miami Freedom Park Development Begins

Miami's Building Department has issued a phased foundation permit for construction at the Miami Freedom Park site, as per department records. The permit, granted to contractor Lemartec Corporation on June 5, marks the beginning of significant activity at the location.

Project Overview

Miami Freedom Park is slated to feature several key amenities upon completion. These include a 25,000-seat multi-purpose MLS stadium, a sprawling 58-acre public park, and over 1 million square feet of space dedicated to commercial retail, entertainment, amusement, and office facilities. Additionally, the development will house three hotels, collectively offering 750 rooms. The project is estimated to have a total value of approximately $1 billion.
