Current Responsibilities
As Managing Director and Office Agency Lead for JLL, Steven Hurwitz specializes in both landlord and tenant representation for large institutions, private equity firms and local businesses. Steven’s client list includes Deutsche Bank, Zurich Insurance, KBS Realty Advisors, East End Properties, Madison Marquette and Ivy Realty. Prior to JLL, Steven was an Executive Managing Director at Colliers International and partner at CREC. Steven leases an office portfolio of nearly 2,500,000 square feet and plays a key role in new business development. Steven served as Chief of Staff for Miami Beach Mayor Neisen Kasdin from 1995-2000. Following his tenure in government Steven supervised development and construction projects at Codina Group completing projects totaling nearly $60 million.
Education & Affiliations
Mr. Hurwitz received a BA from the University of Wisconsin (Madison, Wisconsin) and earned an MBA at Florida International University (Miami, Florida). He is a graduate of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Miami program. Steven is currently is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker.
