ZOM Living Unveils 8-Story Multifamily Development in Tampa

A new addition to the MetWest International project in Tampa, FL has been revealed. ZOM Living, in collaboration with MetLife Investment Management, is set to construct a mid-rise housing complex known as "MetWest Residential."

Project Details

The luxury complex will comprise eight stories and house 375 apartments ranging from 576 to 1,601 square feet. Accommodations vary from studios to three-bedroom units. Notable communal features include a resort-style pool, outdoor deck, courtyard, and a modern fitness center. Additionally, plans include 3,000 square feet of retail space and a six-story parking garage. Architecture is being handled by Looney Ricks Kiss (LRK).

Timeline and Financing

While completion is tentatively set for 2026 according to Apartments.com, official confirmation is pending. Rent pricing remains undisclosed, but similar area apartments start at $1,200 per month for a 583-square-foot unit. ZOM Living has secured $63 million in construction financing from TD Bank to facilitate the project.

Past Attempts and Future Prospects

This initiative marks the latest endeavor in residential development at MetWest International. Previous attempts in 2014 and 2020 failed to materialize.
