Construction nears completion on Astor On Third II, a six-story mixed-use building located at 2-24 26th Avenue in Astoria, Queens. Developed by Yitzchok Katz of Developing NY State and designed by FNA Engineering Services PC, the building stands at 64 feet tall and spans 111,862 square feet. It will offer 137 rental units averaging 683 square feet each, along with 18,249 square feet of ground-floor community space, a 60-foot-long rear yard, and 69 parking spaces. Positioned at the corner of 26th Avenue and 3rd Street, the project is adjacent to Astor On Third's companion development.
Facade and Design Features
Recent photographs reveal that the facade is nearly complete, showcasing tan brick with floor-to-ceiling windows and black mullions. The building boasts balconies adorned with ornamental railings and a main entrance on the northeastern corner. Equipment and machinery are visible on-site as crews finalize exterior work and sidewalk construction.
