Construction has wrapped up at Utica Crescent, a new affordable housing community located at 832 Rutland Road in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The development occupies a former parking lot adjacent to Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center at the southwest corner of Rutland Road and Utica Avenue. The project was developed by Monadnock Development, CB Emmanuel, and Equity Developers LLC, with design work led by Bernheimer Architecture.

Utica Crescent delivers 322 affordable apartments for households earning up to 80 percent of the area median income. The development also includes 89 supportive housing units reserved for eligible seniors. Beyond housing, the $256 million project incorporates a range of community-focused amenities. Residents and neighborhood members will have access to a healthcare center operated by One Brooklyn Health System, retail space, a grocery store, community facilities, and recreational amenities. The development also features fully accessible and adaptable apartments, including dedicated residences designed for individuals with mobility and sensory disabilities.
