High Street Residential, a subsidiary of Trammell Crow Co., and Principal Real Estate Investors have recently unveiled Legacy Square. This luxury residential community, located in Plano, Texas, boasts 363 units and offers a range of high-end amenities. The project, which began construction in 2021, was completed and ready for residents in late 2022.

Financing and Development Team

The construction of Legacy Square was made possible through a $60.3 million loan provided by Principal Financial Group in November 2021. The development team comprised of Britt Design Group, responsible for interior design, and Andres Construction, the general contractor. GFF contributed their architectural expertise to the project.

Legacy Square is spread over 17 acres and consists of 22 buildings, two of which are dedicated to amenities. The community offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, ranging in size from 737 to 2,051 square feet. Residents can enjoy a 2,300-square-foot business center, fitness center, clubhouse, playground, swimming pool, and two conference rooms. The community also provides over 900 parking spaces and EV charging stations.

Legacy Square is conveniently located at 2100 Legacy Drive, just 5 miles from The Montgomery, another development by the same joint venture. The community is also a mile away from Legacy Drive Village shopping mall, offering a variety of dining and retail options. Other nearby facilities include the Carpenter Park Recreation Center and a Walmart Supercenter, both within a 3-mile radius.

Future Ventures

Earlier this year, Trammell Crow Co. announced a partnership with Daiwa House Industry Co. for the construction of a 209-unit luxury community in Houston. This property is expected to be ready for residents in the first quarter of 2025.
