Work is progressing steadily on the construction of 250 East 83rd Street, a 31-story residential tower situated in the Yorkville neighborhood of Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Design and Development
Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by The Torkian Group, this towering structure stands at 370 feet tall and spans 215,608 square feet. It is set to offer 128 rental units with interior designs by Lemay_id, in addition to ground-floor retail space. The property is strategically located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 83rd Street.
Exterior Progress
The final stages of exterior work are underway, with significant advancements made since the last update in April. Precast stone paneling has encased most of the multifaceted crown. Current efforts are concentrated on the frontage for the lobby and retail areas, with a canopy now extending over the East 83rd Street entrance. Another canopy is slated for the southern corner.
Construction and Financing
The Torkian Group is overseeing the project's completion, aided by a $145 million loan secured from Valley National Bank in November 2022.
Location and Accessibility
Situated diagonally across from the 86th Street station, served by the Q train, the property boasts convenient access to public transportation. Additionally, nearby Lexington Avenue offers access to the 4, 5, and 6 trains.
Projected Completion Date
250 East 83rd Street is expected to be finalized by May 2025, as indicated on site.
