Tom Brady, quarterback superstar, decided to advance with his plans for a waterfront mansion in South Florida, which will be located across the waterway from a home owned by his ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
The luxury project: The estate, which is being built in the exclusive and gated Indian Creek Village, will include a separate gym, study, waterfront pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, gardens, and a tree-lined driveway leading up to a motor court with a multi-car garage. The primary and guest suites will also have their own terraces.
The backstory: Brady and Bündchen bought the 2-acre lot for the mansion in December 2020 through an LLC tied to Jeff Soffer's Fontainebleau Development. In June 2023, the LLC secured a $35 million construction loan for the home from JPMorgan Chase.
Exclusive location: Indian Creek Village is a private island community that is home to many wealthy and famous people, including Jeff Bezos and David Guetta. Bündchen is also building a waterfront home in Surfside, Florida, which is located near Indian Creek Village.
In addition to the mansion in Indian Creek Village and the home in Surfside, Brady also owns a 7.5-acre equestrian estate in Southwest Ranches, Florida. Construction on the mansion is expected to be completed in 2024.
