Tishman Speyer has secured the land for its upcoming mixed-use development in Jersey City. The project will comprise two prominent towers situated at 50 and 55 Hudson Street, marking a significant addition to the city's skyline.

Development Features

The ambitious project is set to introduce nearly 2,000 new apartments, over 70,000 square feet of retail space, and a sizable 32,000-square-foot public plaza. Notably, the plaza will offer direct access to Jersey City’s waterfront esplanade, enhancing the area's connectivity and livability.

Construction Progress

Construction activities have commenced with the initiation of the first tower at 55 Hudson Street. This tower, spanning 58 stories, will house 1,017 rental apartments alongside retail spaces and amenities for residents. Anticipated to be completed by early 2027, it represents a significant milestone in the development's timeline.

Future Phases

The project's second phase, located at 50 Hudson Street, will feature a 48-story tower. This tower is planned to accommodate 924 rental apartments, along with additional retail offerings and amenities for residents. Together, these phases will contribute substantially to Jersey City's urban landscape and housing stock.

Transportation Accessibility

Strategically situated, the development enjoys proximity to various transportation options. Adjacent to the NJ PATH, Light Rail, and ferry terminals providing access to New York City, the project ensures convenient commuting for residents, particularly those commuting to Lower Manhattan.

Approval and Community Impact

The project has received approval from the Jersey City Planning Board, reflecting adherence to regulatory standards and community needs. Its location, design, and amenities are poised to positively impact both residents and the broader Jersey City community, contributing to economic growth and urban development.
