Elon Musk and Tesla are seeking approval for their third service and sales center within Miami-Dade County. This ambitious project involves the redevelopment of an existing 78,026-square-foot warehouse in 9950 N.W. 25th St., Miami, which was constructed back in 1984. Plans for the site, which is just north of the Dolphin Expressway, also include the provision of 150 parking spaces, with the majority of them located outside the warehouse.

EV 9900 LLC acquired this 5.3-acre property for $19.75 million in late 2021, which was unoccupied at the time of purchase. The venture entails revitalizing the existing structure, and transform the aging building into a versatile facility comprising a service center, showroom, and office space.

This facility would serve various functions, including facilitating new car transfers to customers, handling end-of-lease vehicle returns, and offering essential services such as tire replacements and software updates.

The architectural design for this project has been created by Stantec, and conceptual renderings have been shared with several online sources. These renderings portray a modern mid-rise glass building. According to Tesla North, the proposal is scheduled to be presented to Miami-Dade city officials on August 23, 2023

If granted approval, this endeavor would complement Tesla's existing service centers in Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Delray Beach.
