Standard International, now a subsidiary of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, is set to brand a second condominium tower in Miami's Financial District. Partnering with Harvey Hernandez's Newgard Development Group and Two Roads Development, led by Taylor Collins, this new project showcases the appeal the trendy brand has in the Miami market.

One Brickell Riverfront Project

The 45-story, 422-unit Standard Residences, Brickell, will occupy the second tower in the three-tower One Brickell Riverfront project. Located at 99 Southwest Seventh Street, the site is currently home to the upcoming Lofty Brickell, 44-story, 363-unit condo tower that's under construction. A concept for the third tower is yet to be announced.

Standard Residences: A Follow-Up to Midtown Success

The success of the Standard Residences, Midtown Miami, a nearly sold-out 12-story, 228-unit project, set the stage for the expansion to Brickell. The project, developed by Rosso Development and Midtown Development, will allow unit owners to rent their studios to two-bedroom units for a minimum of 30 days, reflecting the popularity of short-term rentals amongst its buyers.

Brickell Tower Features and Design

On the other hand, the Brickell tower will offer units ranging from 500-square-foot studios to 1,100-square-foot two-bedroom condos, ranging from $600,000 to $2 million. Unlike the Midtown property, the Brickell development will not include a hotel component or allow short-term rentals. Amenities will feature a rooftop pool deck, infinity plunge pools, a spa, a riverfront restaurant, a fitness center, a screening room, a bowling alley, and more. The design is being led by Arquitectonica and Good.Rich, Standard International’s in-house design team.

Strategic Development Timeline and Sales

The first two towers of the One Brickell Riverfront project, including the Standard Residences, are expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Sales for the Standard Residences will be managed by One Sotheby’s International Realty, with the sales gallery opening later this year.

The Appeal of Branded Residences

With ultra-luxe condominium developments continuing to debut in Brickell, from Baccarat, Dolce & Gabanna, Mandarin Oriental and more, the Standard Residences, Brickell, will provide buyers with a contemporary option at a lower luxury pricepoint.

Standard’s Broader Miami Presence

In addition to its condo projects, Standard International operates the Standard Spa, Miami Beach, which is undergoing renovations to include a residential component, further cementing the brand's footprint across residential real estate and hospitality in Miami’s bustling market.
