Sportime Pickleball Signs 80K SF for 2 New Facilities in Jersey

Cushman & Wakefield recently orchestrated two significant long-term lease agreements totaling 80,000 square feet for Sportime Pickleball, a division of Sportime Clubs, the largest racquet facility operator in the Northeast.

Lease Details

The first lease, covering 50,000 square feet, is for Sportime Pickleball's Wayne location at 77 Willowbrook Boulevard. This lease was managed by a team from Cushman & Wakefield comprising Neil Seth, Jennifer Konefsky, Kenji Ota, and Kathryn Cruz. The second lease, spanning 30,000 square feet, is for the Englewood location at 62 Route 4 East, and it was handled by Andrew Somple of NAI James E. Hanson.

Expansion Plans

Daren Hornig, a principal of Sportime Pickleball and its Head of Real Estate, expressed excitement about the expansion into New Jersey. The Englewood location, set to open in Fall 2024, will feature 12 dedicated Pickleball courts, while the Wayne location, slated to open in the first quarter of 2025, will offer 18 dedicated indoor courts, including a stadium court.

The expansion into New Jersey marks a significant milestone for Sportime Pickleball as it ventures into a new market, offering state-of-the-art facilities to enthusiasts of the sport.
