San Diego-based Better Buzz Coffee Roasters is set on further expansion. Over the past two years, the chain has doubled its store count from 12 to 24 and aims to double that again to 48 within the next year. The company is eyeing new locations in Arizona, Nevada, and additional sites in Southern California.

Recent Openings

In 2024 alone, Better Buzz has opened three new locations: Laguna Hills, Oceanside (its 19th San Diego location), and its first out-of-state shop in Uptown Phoenix. The Phoenix opening marked the most successful launch day in the company's 22-year history.

Future Locations

Better Buzz has 12 new locations planned, including three in Las Vegas, with the first set to open in September. The company also plans to establish six more stores in Phoenix, a third location in Orange County, and two additional spots in San Diego.

Company Vision

VP of marketing Amanda Cameron expressed excitement about the company's growth. “While we’re thrilled with our progress so far, we’re even more excited about our rapid growth for the rest of the year,” she said. The company's goal is to expand further in Southern California, focusing on the Los Angeles area down to San Diego, as well as increasing their presence in Arizona and Nevada to make their signature Best Drink Ever more accessible.
