Set to open in late summer on the Miami River, Habibi Miami is a new French Moroccan supper club founded by hospitality mogul Roman Jones. With Ikam Rebaia leading the project and Aris Nanos managing operations, Habibi Miami promises an enchanting experience with a blend of culinary delights, handcrafted cocktails, and a captivating atmosphere.
Aesthetic and Architectural Inspirations
Inspired by Moorish architecture, Habibi Miami aims to immerse guests in the rich tapestry of Maghrebi culture. Creative Director Mark Lehmkuhl from Ghosthouse Design Group and Love Lake Studios has crafted a whimsical retro retreat with hues of pink and teal, evoking a bygone Tangier era. The tent-like structure, reminiscent of opulent riads, invites patrons to experience the vibrant spirit and traditions of French Morocco.

Ambiance and Decor
Guests will be welcomed by a 30-foot-long red carpet entrance adorned with Alhambra design elements, setting the tone for opulence. Inside, crystal chandeliers, Turkish rugs, velvet booths, and silk draperies create an unforgettable dining atmosphere. The restaurant accommodates 200 guests, featuring an outdoor patio for sunset soirées and a bar with bespoke tableside hookah service. Nightly performances by belly dancers, contortionists, and percussionists will elevate the dining experience into a theater of nightlife.
Culinary Offerings
The menu at Habibi Miami includes a variety of continental and Middle Eastern shareable dishes such as Merguez Pigs in a Blanket, Whole Roasted Cauliflower with Charred Wild Mushrooms, and Lemon Roasted Chicken with Herbed Yogurt. Comfort food options include Wagyu Burger Sliders and Miso-Honey Glazed Sea Bass Skewers, while sushi lovers can enjoy a selection of rolls. Tableside dessert carts offer indulgent treats like ice cream with Turkish mastic and Halva cheesecake.
Exotic Cocktails
The bar team at Habibi Miami will use North African and Mediterranean influences to create exotic cocktails. Techniques like fat washing—toasting seeds to extract oils and infusing them into spirits—will be employed to craft signature drinks such as the "Ali" Fashioned and the Moroccan Margarita, perfectly complementing the eclectic menu.
Location and Opening
Habibi Miami is slated to open in the summer of 2024, located at 452 Northwest North River Drive, Miami, FL.
