Yossel Lichtman of Rogers Builders & Development has filed for permits to horizontally expand an existing three-story, residential building addressed at 75 Calyer Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
The location: The property, located between West Street and Franklin Street, is close to the Nassau Avenue subway station, which is serviced by the G train.
The plans: If the permits are approved, the 34-foot-tall development will yield 4,996 square feet of residential space. Designed by Amr Ouda, the project will feature seven residents, likely rentals. Each unit averages 713 square feet. The project includes a cellar and a rear yard.
Since developers are planning to expand an existing structure, it is likely demolition permits will not be needed.
