One Broadway's 36-Story Mixed-use Renovation Set to Revamp Brickell's Skyline

A proposal has been submitted to Miami's Urban Development Review Board outlining the revitalization plans for the 36-story One Broadway tower in Brickell.

The upcoming extensive renovations, both externally and internally, aim to enhance the overall aesthetic of the 13-year-old tower, contributing to the visual appeal of the Miami skyline, as detailed in a developer's statement.

The transformation will involve a shift in functionality, converting the current 371 residential units into a configuration of 123 hotel suites and 198 residences.

Key aspects of the redesign comprise the repositioning and addition of significant amenities, enhancements to the building's façade, an improved pedestrian experience at ground level, installation of new continuous glass balconies, and activation of the rooftop space.

The 9th, 11th, 35th, and 36th floors will be designated for a mix of restaurants, versatile communal spaces, and hotel facilities, adding vibrancy to these levels.

Furthermore, to create a more spacious and contemporary living environment, four apartment levels will be amalgamated to generate double-height living spaces.

A noteworthy alteration involves the removal of the existing roof parapets to make room for a distinctive, modern clad element, marking a significant visual transformation for the tower.
