New renderings for Sioni Group’s latest project 100 West 37th Street have been released. This project, which is being designed by C3D Architecture, is a 68-story, mixed-use skyscraper located in the Garment District in Midtown, Manhattan.
The structure: Once completed, the 743-foot-tall structure will yield 384,118 square feet with 300 condominium units spread across 297,301 square feet, while also featuring 86,817 square feet of commercial space and two cellar levels.
The Northeast Specialist Group is handling the demolition of the corner property, located right at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and West 37th Street.
The design: The renderings supplied by Render.Bar, unveil fresh perspectives of the skyscraper's aesthetic. The building's podium stands shoulder to shoulder with the adjacent Haier Building. Ascending above, the tower's façade will feature a multi-faceted glass curtain wall, culminating in a second setback that aligns seamlessly with the western building's rooftop.
This indentation carves out room for an additional terrace. Near the summit, curved balconies promise future inhabitants beautiful vistas of the Midtown skyline.
What to expect: The pace of demolition has remained steadfast, drawing closer to street level with only a few floors remaining. If this continues, demolition should be done by next fall.
