Renderings have been revealed for The Henry Residences, an 18-story residential building under construction at 211 West 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. This project is designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with Hill West Architects as the architect of record. Developed by Naftali Group, which acquired the property for $71 million in 2022, the building stands 209 feet tall, encompassing 154,598 square feet. It will feature 45 condominium units averaging 3,371 square feet each, along with 2,898 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a cellar level, and 17 enclosed parking spaces. The structure boasts nearly 250 feet of frontage along West 84th Street, extending from the corner of Broadway to the middle of the block.

Design and Architecture
The upper stories of The Henry Residences are depicted with a symmetrical massing, featuring terraces and balconies lined with glass and metal railings, and adorned with trees and shrubbery. The fenestration includes floor-to-ceiling windows, some with arched openings. The bulkhead has chamfered corners and a doorway leading to a landscaped roof deck. The main entrance, centrally located on the southern elevation along West 84th Street, is flanked by large light fixtures and topped with a curved sidewalk canopy within the outline of a double-height arched window. Adjacent to this entrance is a garage entrance. The ground-floor façade is characterized by thick cornices and stone blocks with angled surfaces that play with sunlight and shadow.

Amenities and Features
Although a complete list of residential amenities has yet to be disclosed, the renderings showcase several luxurious features. These include an indoor lounge with a fireplace that connects to a private outdoor garden, a two-lane bowling alley, an indoor basketball court, a cinema, and an indoor pickleball court illuminated by skylights. Additionally, a roof terrace atop the low-rise podium is lined with planters and furnished with outdoor seating, a fire pit, and a grilling station next to an al fresco dining setup.

Location and Accessibility
The site of The Henry Residences is conveniently located two blocks south of the 86th Street subway station, which is served by the local 1 train. This prime location offers residents easy access to public transportation and the vibrant amenities of Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
Expected Completion
The anticipated completion date for The Henry Residences is slated for spring 2026, as indicated on-site.
