  • Pumphouse Coffee is launching Pumphouse Donuts, a new café concept centered around handcrafted sourdough donuts.
  • The shop will also serve smoothies, scratch-made breakfast and lunch, and sandwiches featuring bread from Bread by Johnny.
  • The new concept is expected to open in Spring 2027, further strengthening West Palm Beach's rapidly growing Flamingo Park dining scene.

Pumphouse Coffee Launches New Concept

Located in Flamingo Park, West Palm Beach, FL, Pumphouse Donuts will introduce a new take on neighborhood cafés with sourdough donuts as its signature offering. The concept comes from the team behind Pumphouse Coffee, one of Palm Beach County's best-known specialty coffee roasters, whose beans are served in numerous local restaurants, cafés, and retail shops. The opening is planned for Spring 2027.

More Than Just Donuts

While sourdough donuts headline the menu, the concept is designed to serve customers throughout the day. Guests can expect smoothies, scratch-made breakfast and lunch dishes, and afternoon sandwiches built on artisan bread from Bread by Johnny, whose baking has become a staple at acclaimed South Florida restaurants including Buccan Sandwich Shop, The Breakers, and La Goulue. The menu reflects the growing demand for chef-driven casual dining experiences that emphasize fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Building on Pumphouse's Growth

The donut shop follows Pumphouse Coffee's continued expansion across West Palm Beach. Most recently, the company opened a café inside 300 Banyan, the downtown office tower designed by Spina O'Rourke + Partners, complementing its flagship Pouratorium coffee roastery. The latest concept further strengthens the company's presence within Palm Beach County's specialty coffee and café market.

Flamingo Park's Restaurant Scene Keeps Growing

Pumphouse Donuts joins a rapidly expanding lineup of culinary destinations transforming Flamingo Park into one of West Palm Beach's premier dining neighborhoods. Nearby businesses include Emelina, the first Cuban restaurant in the world to earn a Michelin star, Steak Shop, Loot Market, and the forthcoming Midorie, an intimate omakase concept led by Michelin-starred Chef Masayuki. The growing concentration of independent restaurants continues attracting residents and visitors beyond the city's traditional downtown core.

What This Means for West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach's restaurant scene continues to diversify as local operators invest in neighborhood-focused concepts rather than large national chains. Pumphouse Donuts reflects that trend by combining artisan baking, specialty coffee, and locally sourced ingredients into a community-oriented destination. As Flamingo Park continues attracting acclaimed chefs and independent restaurateurs, the neighborhood is quickly establishing itself as one of South Florida's most exciting culinary districts.
