The project is part of the City of Chicago’s LaSalle Corridor Revitalization initiative and is led by the Chicago-based developer, The Prime Group, Inc. The plan involves converting 222,500 square feet of office space on floors 13 to 16 into 226 residential units, including studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments.

Architectural Design

Lamar Johnson Collaborative is the architect of record, working alongside design architect Lucien Lagrange. The project represents a significant adaptive reuse effort, transforming former office space into modern residential accommodations.

Financial Support and Project Costs

The project received approval from Chicago’s Community Development Commission for up to $26.2 million in Tax Increment Financing (TIF) assistance. The estimated total cost for the project is $130 million.

Construction Timeline

Pending necessary approvals and permits, The Prime Group plans to begin construction in early 2025.
