Plant-based Meat Leader Impossible Foods Launches First Retail Food Concept in Chicago

Impossible Foods, a leader in the plant-based meat industry, has introduced its first physical foodservice location in Uptown Chicago. This new venture, named Impossible Quality Meats, operates as a pop-up within the XMarket Food Hall and offers a diverse menu of plant-based dishes, including appetizers, salads, wraps, burgers, and hotdogs.

Opening Details and Location
The pop-up will be open from August 13th through the fall, operating from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Situated inside Chicago's XMarket Food Hall, the location is managed by VEG House and leased through PlantX Life Inc.
Unique Dining Experience
Impossible Quality Meats offers customers not just a dining experience but also the opportunity to purchase popular Impossible retail products, such as Impossible Beef, Impossible Hot Dogs, and Impossible Chicken Nuggets, at the PlantX Bodega within the food hall. The concept is designed to showcase Impossible Foods' evolution from a foodservice brand to a complete dining experience.
Grand Opening Celebration
To mark the launch of Impossible Quality Meats, a grand opening event is planned for Saturday, August 17th, at the XMarket Food Hall. Starting at 11 a.m., visitors can enjoy free samples of Impossible Hot Dogs, Impossible Burgers, and Oatly Soft Serve while supplies last.

Founded in 2011, Impossible Foods has rapidly expanded, with its products now available in over 45,000 restaurant locations across the United States. This new venture in Chicago represents the company's continued growth and innovation in the plant-based food market.
