  • Paris Baguette opened its first Miami bakery café on June 30 at 2217 North Miami Ave. in Wynwood.
  • The new location is owned by franchisee Cesar Paoli, a former banking and finance professional from Venezuela.
  • The opening marks the brand's Miami debut as Paris Baguette continues its North American expansion toward 1,000 locations by 2030.

What the New Bakery Café Brings to Wynwood

Paris Baguette and franchise owner Cesar Paoli announced the opening of the brand's newest bakery café at 2217 North Miami Ave., Miami, FL 33127 on June 30. Located in the heart of Wynwood, the new bakery café brings Paris Baguette's signature assortment of artisan pastries, cakes, breads, and handcrafted beverages to one of Miami's most vibrant and creative neighborhoods. The café also features a custom hand-painted mural that pays tribute to Wynwood's artistic roots and reflects the community's culture and spirit. With more than 4,000 locations worldwide and more than 300 bakery cafés across North America, Paris Baguette continues expanding its footprint with multiple additional locations currently in development.

What Inspired the Franchise Owner

Paoli, a former banking and finance professional from Venezuela, moved to Miami in 2015 and began looking for a business opportunity that combined his analytical background with a product he personally enjoyed. During frequent trips to New York, he became a loyal Paris Baguette customer and saw an opportunity to introduce the brand to South Florida.

"I've always been in finance, but I've also always had an interest in the hospitality business. When I decided to reinvent my career in Miami, I knew I wanted to work with a brand that has a great product," Paoli said.

He added that Wynwood's artistic atmosphere and continued growth made it the ideal neighborhood for the company's first Miami location and the beginning of a broader expansion throughout the market.

What the Expansion Means for the Brand

The Wynwood café represents Paris Baguette's first location in Miami and supports the company's long-term goal of reaching 1,000 locations across the United States and Canada by 2030. The company said it plans to continue growing through partnerships with local entrepreneurs committed to bringing fresh baked goods, artisan coffee, and neighborhood gathering spaces to their communities.

"We're on a mission to reestablish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community across the U.S., and we're thrilled to have Cesar lead our entry into the Miami market," said Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette.
