Oro, the latest luxury addition to Miami Beach, has officially opened its doors at 818 Lincoln Road. This new rooftop restaurant, from the Miami-based Golden Era Hospitality Group, offers a dazzling dining experience with a gold theme that runs throughout its design and menu. Located next to the popular Mila restaurant, Oro is set to become a standout venue in the area, with both lavish aesthetics and culinary offerings.

A Golden Touch from Entrance to Dining Room

The theme of Oro is unmistakably gold. From its striking golden arches at the entrance to the golden furnishings and lighting inside, the space exudes opulence. The restaurant features a spacious dining area with room for over 300 guests, as well as both indoor and outdoor seating options. Each area is equipped with a bar, ensuring guests can enjoy their experience with ease and comfort.

A Culinary Journey Inspired by Global Travels

The vision behind Oro comes from Philippe Kalifa, the founder of Golden Era Hospitality, who was inspired by a collection of memories from his global travels. Leading the kitchen is Chef Victor Munoz, a Mexican-born chef who brings a wealth of international experience to the restaurant. Munoz has worked at notable restaurants in Walt Disney World, Europe, and beyond, and his menu at Oro reflects this global influence.

Innovative Dishes That Blend Tradition and Tropical Flavors

Oro’s menu is a fusion of premium ingredients and tropical flavors. Guests can indulge in fresh seafood such as crab, lobster, oysters, and a variety of fish, along with high-end cuts of meat. For a unique twist, dishes like Kaluga caviar with fermented banana peel butter, plantain waffle, and horseradish creme showcase tropical ingredients in an upscale setting. Other notable dishes include Tom Kha Crudo with amberjack, wasabi, and finger lime, and dry-aged Rohan duck with sweet potato, lavender, and red rosebud jus.

A Nightlife Destination to Look Forward To

In addition to Oro, the 15,000-square-foot venue will soon introduce Elixir, a high-energy lounge set to open later this year. Elixir will offer a dynamic contrast to the fine dining experience at Oro, giving guests a place to enjoy vibrant nightlife in the heart of Lincoln Road.
