Daniel Dantas, a Brazilian billionaire, is set to make a significant mark on Miami's skyline with plans for the impressive 843-foot Summit Brickell tower in the bustling Brickell neighborhood.
The players behind this project: Dantas, a co-founder of the Opportunity investment firm, which manages approximately $11 billion in assets, is partnering with the Leste Group to create the Lore Development Group. Together, they are gearing up to bring the 69-story Summit Brickell tower to life, marking one of Lore's initial investments in Miami.
The architectural design for this monumental project is being undertaken by Corwil, ensuring that the aesthetics and functionality of Summit Brickell align with the highest standards.
The vision that moves this endeavor: This ambitious project reflects Lore Development Group's intention to invest over $1 billion in Miami over the next five years, demonstrating their confidence in the city's real estate market and growth potential.
How the location modified the tower: One of the notable features of this development is its proximity to the Metrorail and Metromover, which has allowed the developers to increase the tower's height from the initial plan of 40 stories to an impressive 70 stories. Additionally, they have doubled the unit count, capitalizing on the property's prime location and excellent transportation access.
County records indicate that the developers officially filed for zoning approval for the Summit Brickell tower on October 4th, marking a crucial step in the project's development.
Summit Brickell is designed to encompass:
500 residential units
2,174 square feet of ground floor commercial space
Amenities on the 13th and 69th floors, including a rooftop pool on the 69th floor
480 parking spaces distributed across levels 2 through 12
The construction and development schedule: The developers have previously outlined their timeline, with groundbreaking scheduled for June 2024 and a target completion date in the summer of 2027. This project is set to make a significant impact on Miami's ever-evolving skyline and further solidify the city's reputation as a hub for ambitious and innovative real estate ventures.
