One Williamsburg Wharf, a luxurious 22-story residential tower along the East River shoreline, has unveiled a groundbreaking feature: New York City's first-ever private outdoor ice skating rink. This seasonal amenity, located on the iconic Williamsburg waterfront, will offer residents breathtaking panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline and East River, enhancing the tower's resort-style living experience.

The rink's versatility is a highlight of its design. During the summer months, it transforms into a pool, ensuring residents can enjoy year-round outdoor leisure. The transformation is made possible through the use of synthetic ice manufactured by Glice, a global leader in the industry. Known for its collaborations with NHL players, Red Bull, and luxury brands like Fairmont Hotels, Glice ensures a high-quality skating experience. The pool basin is adapted with a secure substructure, matching deck pavers, and the installation of synthetic ice to create a seamless seasonal shift.

Setting itself apart from traditional ice skating venues, One Williamsburg Wharf's rink will be Brooklyn’s first elevated ice skating rink and a unique destination for its residents. With its unobstructed skyline views, the rink will provide a high-altitude alternative to popular ice skating spots like Rockefeller Center, Central Park's Wollman Rink, and Prospect Park's LeFrak Center. One Williamsburg Wharf is developed by Naftali Group and designed by Brandon Haw Architecture with interiors by Ward + Gray.
