Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 458 St. Marks Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The development is being proposed by Steven Hurwitz of Nostrand Land LLC.

The project in numbers: It will be 65 feet tall and will have 20,232 square feet of residential space. The building will have 19 residences, most likely condominiums, with an average unit size of 1,064 square feet.

The building: The project will also have a cellar, a 40-foot-long rear yard, and 10 enclosed parking spaces. The concrete-based structure is being designed by IMC Architecture.

Location: The proposed building will be located between Classon and Grand Avenues, a short walk to the Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum subway station. 

What’s next: Demolition permits have not been filed yet, so it is not yet clear when construction will begin. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
