Nestled between the bustling Wilshire Boulevard and 7th Street, the project site enjoys a prime location. Funding for the apartment complex was secured through various sources, including the Los Angeles County's affordable housing trust fund known as Measure HHH, along with approximately $32.5 million in tax-exempt bonds. The construction budget for this transformative venture is estimated to be around $60 million.

The proudly completed Ingraham Apartments now stand tall, comprising 121 thoughtfully crafted residential units housed in a contemporary seven-story structure. This well-designed living space offers a harmonious mix of 120 studios and a single one-bedroom apartment reserved for the on-site manager. Each living unit, with an average size of approximately 400 square feet, boasts private kitchens and full bathrooms. Catering to the needs of the community, the supportive housing units are exclusively allocated for those who have experienced chronic homelessness and individuals with low income. The apartments are priced to accommodate households earning no more than 60 percent of the area's median income level, making them an affordable and much-needed addition to the neighborhood.

The heartwarming inauguration of this new supportive housing complex took place at 1230 West Ingraham Street in Westlake, Los Angeles. The project proposal entailed the construction of a contemporary seven-story residential building thoughtfully designed to cater to the essential needs of its future occupants, while also incorporating on-site supportive services. This transformative development replaced a formerly existing surface parking lot, demonstrating a commitment to optimizing available urban spaces for the betterment of the community.

Playing a pivotal role in making this vision a reality, SRO Housing Corp undertook the role of the project developer, working diligently to bring the Ingraham Apartments to life. Meanwhile, KFA Architecture assumed the critical responsibility of spearheading the architectural designs, ensuring that the development aligned perfectly with the essence of the surrounding area while delivering exceptional living spaces to its future residents.
