IKEA, the renowned Swedish furniture retailer, has revealed its intention to open a 4,306-square-foot store at Mansell Crossing in Alpharetta, a suburb of Atlanta. The shopping center, situated at 7681 North Point Parkway, is owned by New York-based Brixmor. This move is part of IKEA's strategy to establish smaller-format stores across various regions.
Small-Format Store Concept
The Alpharetta store is one of four small-format locations announced by IKEA in January. These smaller stores, which cater to the evolving needs of customers, aim to offer home-furnishing solutions and products. Customers will have the opportunity to design and order items with assistance from IKEA experts. Additionally, they can conveniently pick up their purchases once they're shipped.
Store Opening Details
Anticipated to open in the summer, the Alpharetta store will bring IKEA's signature offerings closer to residents in the area. Notably, other notable tenants at Mansell Crossing include REI, Five Below, TJ Maxx, DSW, Macy’s Furniture Gallery, and Barnes & Noble.
