A new six-story building has been proposed for 131 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The site is located between North 6th and North 7th Streets, just a short distance from the Bedford Avenue subway station on the L line. L3 Capital LLC, headed by Domenic Lanni, has filed for the permits for this development.
The planned structure will stand 75 feet tall, offering a total of 71,969 square feet. Of this, 55,100 square feet will be reserved for residential use, while 16,869 square feet will be dedicated to commercial space. The building is expected to house 43 residential units, likely condos, with an average unit size of 1,281 square feet. Additional features include a cellar and a 40.5-foot rear yard.
BKSK Architects has been named as the architectural firm leading the design for this project. The building will feature a concrete-based construction, emphasizing both residential and commercial functionality.
The lot where the new development will be built is currently vacant, meaning no demolition permits are required. However, a projected completion date for the project has not yet been provided.
