Prime Location and Features

Located at 25 Cottage Street, just steps from the Journal Square Transportation Center, the Nasser Freres development will include 622 rental residences, nearly 45,000 square feet of Class A office space, ground floor retail, and a range of amenities. The project will be housed within a distinctive 28-story tower designed by the renowned Handel Architects.

Amenities

Residents will enjoy a variety of high-end amenities. These include a landscaped rooftop with a pool and lounge area, a double-height lobby lounge with reception, and a Relaxation Zone featuring a spa with a steam room, sauna, and salt room. Additional amenities include an art gallery and studio, children's playroom, pet facilities, bowling alley, screening room, game lounge, and more. Flexible co-working spaces will provide a lounge, private work pods, and conference rooms, while fitness enthusiasts can make use of the state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga room, and other recreational facilities.

Community Impact

Michael Sokoloff, Partner at Nasser Freres, expressed excitement about contributing to the area's revitalization, praising Mayor Fulop and his administration for their vision in rejuvenating Journal Square. Mayor Fulop highlighted the extensive ongoing developments in the area, including high-rise projects, a new public park, and the restoration of the historic Loew's Theater. He emphasized that these efforts are transforming Journal Square into a vibrant center for community life.

Strategic Positioning

Located between Summit Avenue and JFK Boulevard East, 25 Cottage Street is ideally positioned within Journal Square's extensive transportation network. The area is well-served by PATH trains to Manhattan, Jersey City, Hoboken, and Newark, as well as NJ Transit and private buses, providing convenient access to major employment and recreation centers.

Design and Appeal

The project will offer a diverse mix of well-appointed residences, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units, designed by Handel Architects. The development aims to attract a growing resident base by providing a thoughtfully designed urban residential environment in one of Journal Square's most significant development sites.

Nasser Freres' investment in Journal Square is part of a broader effort to rejuvenate the neighborhood, transforming it into a dynamic and thriving area with new residences, retail spaces, and public amenities. This development is set to become a key element in the resurgence of Journal Square as the residential, business, and artistic heart of Jersey City.
