Toronto-born actor Mike Myers, famous for portraying Austin Powers and Dr. Evil, has reduced the price of his West Chelsea penthouse to $17.5 million, down from its original $20 million listing.
Situated at 505 W. 19th St., the penthouse spans 5,622 square feet and boasts four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and two private terraces totaling 800 square feet. Designed by architect Thomas Juul-Hansen, the residence features organic materials like wood and stone, adding warmth to the space.
Upon entry via a key-locked elevator, residents are greeted by an entry foyer leading to a library with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of West Chelsea. The main living room includes a woodburning fireplace, and the open chef’s kitchen features custom oak cabinetry, a breakfast bar, and a wine fridge. French doors in the great room lead to a Juliet balcony.
The main bedroom suite features a private hallway, two walk-in closets, and a luxurious ensuite bath with marble walls, heated floors, and a sauna. Additionally, there’s a study with a wet bar and a private balcony that could serve as a fifth bedroom.
The building offers amenities such as a gym, concierge services, private storage, bike storage, and cold storage for deliveries.
The listing brokers for the penthouse are Leonard Steinberg and Herve Senequier, both from Compass.
