Midtown Miami Officially Welcomes The Standard's First-Ever Residential Development
  • Rosso Development has completed The Standard Residences, Midtown Miami, the brand's first standalone residential project worldwide.
  • The 12-story building features 228 residences and more than 34,000 square feet of lifestyle amenities.
  • The project serves as the first completed component of the planned $2 billion Midtown Park mixed-use development.

The Standard Makes Residential History in Miami

The Standard Residences, Midtown Miami, has officially opened, becoming the first exclusively residential project ever developed under The Standard brand.

Developed by Rosso Development in partnership with Hyatt and Midtown Development, the 12-story building delivers 228 residences in one of Miami's fastest-growing urban neighborhoods at 3100 NE 1st Avenue, Miami, FL. The project is also notable for being the first new residential building completed in Midtown Miami in nearly a decade.

Its completion marks another milestone in Midtown's evolution into a major live-work-play destination.

What Residents Receive

The project combines residential ownership with the lifestyle amenities typically associated with luxury hospitality brands.

Residents have access to more than 34,000 square feet of amenities, including a 60-foot rooftop resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, yoga and wellness studios, infrared sauna, coworking spaces, screening room, and a pickleball court that converts into a disco-inspired entertainment space.

The rooftop experience is anchored by Solana, a restaurant and bar operated by the acclaimed Juvia Group.

Design Driven by Art and Hospitality

The building was designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Urban Robot and The Standard's in-house design team.

Throughout the property, residents and visitors will encounter curated artwork from international and South Florida-based artists, reinforcing Midtown Miami's connection to the city's growing arts and cultural scene.

The project blends hospitality, design, wellness, and social experiences into a single residential offering.

A Major Step for Midtown Park

The Standard Residences serves as a key component of Midtown Park, Rosso Development and Midtown Development's planned $2 billion mixed-use district.

The broader five-acre development will introduce additional residential towers, office space, luxury retail, restaurants, entertainment venues, public green spaces, and an ULTRA padel club. The master plan is designed to strengthen connections between Midtown, Wynwood, and the Design District through pedestrian-friendly public spaces.

The project is expected to further accelerate investment throughout the corridor.

What This Means for Miami

The completion of The Standard Residences highlights the continued demand for branded residential projects across South Florida.

As hospitality brands increasingly expand into residential ownership models, developers are leveraging globally recognized names to create differentiated living experiences. For Carlos Rosso and Rosso Development, the project's delivery establishes Midtown Park's first major milestone while positioning Midtown Miami for its next phase of growth.
