What Mast Capital is building

Mast Capital has pushed Cipriani Residences Miami to 872 feet, officially making it the tallest residential tower south of Manhattan. The project is still rising toward a final height of around 950 feet, with completion expected in 2027. It marks a major milestone not just for the development, but for Miami’s positioning as a global luxury market.

“This milestone reflects a disciplined commitment to craftsmanship,” said Camilo Miguel Jr..

What the project includes

The tower will feature 397 residences ranging from one- to four-bedroom units, including ultra-luxury penthouses.

Designed by Arquitectonica, the building includes over 50,000 square feet of amenities such as a private restaurant, rooftop pool, wellness spaces, and concierge services tied to the Cipriani brand.

The upper-tier Canaletto Collection represents the highest-end inventory, targeting global luxury buyers.

What this means for Miami

This project reinforces Miami’s rapid transformation into a top-tier global luxury residential market. As wealth migration continues and financial firms expand in Brickell, demand for high-end housing has surged. The scale and pricing of this tower reflect rising expectations among buyers. The development also shows how Miami is competing directly with markets like New York in terms of luxury products.

What this means for developers and investors

For developers, this milestone highlights the continued viability of ultra-luxury high-rise development in South Florida. Branded residences and hospitality-driven living are becoming key differentiators, allowing projects to command premium pricing. For investors, it signals that Miami remains one of the strongest growth markets for luxury real estate, supported by global demand and capital inflows. Miami’s skyline continues to evolve as developers push higher-end, taller projects to meet growing luxury demand.
