Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, now a prominent politician, has finally emerged from the intense world of Southern California's real estate. In this high-stakes match, it seems the champ didn't come out on top.
The Real Estate Bout
Pacquiao originally acquired the five-bedroom Los Angeles home back in 2009 for a price of $2.17 million. However, he listed it for sale two years ago at a hefty $4.5 million. The property endured a roller-coaster ride on the market, with prices fluctuating over the years.
The Final Round
In the end, the Mediterranean-style abode, spanning just over 4,200 square feet, was sold for $2 million. Nestled in the Hancock Park neighborhood of L.A., this home even had a cameo appearance on the popular TV show, "MTV Cribs."
Luxury Inside and Out
Upon entering, the dwelling boasts a dramatic two-story entryway with soaring 22-foot ceilings, allowing an abundance of natural light through large windows. The living room features a cozy fireplace, and a mezzanine level offers a captivating view of the main space. The kitchen is equipped with a Caesarstone island, top-notch Miele and Bosch appliances, a glass hood, and a built-in coffee bar. The primary bedroom includes a walk-in closet and a balcony overlooking the pool. The luxurious primary bathroom showcases a glass shower, a relaxing rectangular tub, and premium marble and teak floors. The house is adorned with Design Within Reach light fixtures and Walker Zanger tiles. Outdoors, there's a refreshing pool with a waterfall, a spa, and a delightful dining area.
Pacquiao's New Ring
Once a boxing legend with 12 world titles to his name, Pacquiao has now shifted his focus to politics in his native Philippines. After serving as a senator from 2016 to 2022, he announced his presidential ambitions in late 2022. Surprisingly, Pacquiao also revealed his plans to make a return to boxing in 2023, proving he's not done with the sport just yet.
