Major Food Group & Moss Construction Set to Break Ground on 72-unit Luxury Condo Development in Miami

Moss Construction has been selected to lead the construction of Villa Miami, a luxury waterfront residential project in Miami's Edgewater neighborhood. The development is a collaboration between Major Food Group, Terra's David Martin, and One Thousand Group, with construction set to begin later this summer.

A Vision for Boutique Vertical Living

David Martin, CEO of Terra, expressed excitement over partnering with Moss Construction again, highlighting the project’s aim to meet the rising demand for upscale condominium living. Villa Miami will feature full and half-floor vertical residences, providing a boutique environment in South Florida’s Edgewater, an area where Terra has historically contributed to community growth.

Design and Structure: A New Miami Icon

The 56-story, 650-foot tower, located at 710 Northeast 29th Street, is designed by ODP Architecture & Design, led by Kurt Dannwolf. One of the building's standout features will be its copper-colored exoskeleton, which is expected to become a distinctive element in Miami's skyline. DeSimone, a well-known global structural design firm, will manage the engineering, drawing on their expertise from similar high-rise projects in New York and Miami.

Moss Construction's Role and Excitement

Moss Construction’s Executive Vice President, Ed Baro, shared enthusiasm about the collaboration, describing Villa Miami as a groundbreaking project. With significant experience in high-rise developments, including past work with Terra on Five Park Miami Beach, Moss is eager to contribute to this landmark residential tower that will reshape the Miami skyline.

Interior and Landscape Design: A High-Profile Team

Villa Miami's interiors will be crafted by Vicky Charles of Charles & Co., known for her work with Soho House and other prominent clients, including Sony Music and the Clooneys. Enzo Enea, the landscape architect, will integrate native plants to enhance the surrounding environment, contributing to the overall luxury experience.

Exclusive Residences and Amenities

The development will consist of 72 residences, each offering 360-degree water views. Villa Miami will provide residents with an array of premium amenities, such as estate management services, a rooftop helipad, spa and wellness facilities, poolside service, and access to a branded beach club. Additionally, a Major Food Group restaurant on-site will offer exclusive dining experiences and private chef services.
