Situated on the third floor of a historic building dating back to 1684, Lagerfeld's former abode overlooks prominent Parisian landmarks such as the Seine, the Tuileries Garden, and the Louvre Museum. The approximately 2,800-square-foot residence underwent an extensive renovation, resulting in a modern, minimalist aesthetic characterized by clean lines, concrete and resin flooring, and ample use of glass.

Despite its grandeur, Lagerfeld's apartment comprises only five rooms, including the bathroom. The spacious living area boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and custom bookshelves lining two walls, showcasing his extensive book collection. The bedroom opens via pivoting frosted glass panels into the compartmentalized bathroom, complete with luxurious amenities like a soaking tub and a cosmetics fridge. Additionally, a sprawling dressing room with mirrored walls and a simple stainless-steel kitchen add to the apartment's functionality and style.

With a guide price of €5.3 million, Lagerfeld's former residence will go under the hammer on March 26, 2024, at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
