Starting from the Bottom: 1997-1999

When David Beckham scored his iconic halfway line goal in 1997, little did he know that he would soon embark on a different kind of journey – homeownership. The football legend's first humble abode was a four-bedroom redbrick duplex in Salford, purchased for about $187,000. Fast forward to 1999, and the power couple made their first joint purchase, a $400,000 penthouse in Alderley Edge, complete with Victoria's bold design choices – zebra print in the living room and leopard print in the bathroom. The Beckhams later sold this apartment for a cool $733,000 in 2002.

Beckingham Palace and Beyond: 1999-2005

In 1999, the Beckhams elevated their living standards with "Beckingham Palace," a Grade II–listed former children’s home turned opulent sanctuary. Themed rooms included a boudoir-inspired bedroom and a nursery adorned with a Disney-themed frieze. The property, boasting tennis courts, a football pitch, and even fake ancient ruins, was sold in 2014, netting the couple over $11 million in profit. Global Getaways: 2003-2007

The Beckhams' global adventures included a luxury villa on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah in 2003 and a six-bedroom villa in Bargemon, Côte d’Azur, in the same year. While the Dubai villa was gifted to Victoria’s parents in 2009, the French property, with its gothic charm, was put up for sale in 2016. In 2005, following David's move to Real Madrid, the family settled in Spain. In 2013, the couple established their London home-base, a Grade II–listed Victorian townhouse purchased for approximately $37.9 million.

Cotswolds Countryside Retreat and Miami Marvel: 2016-2020

Venturing into the Cotswolds in 2016, the Beckhams converted three Grade II farmhouses into a nine-bedroom retreat, complete with a natural swimming hole, apiary, and glamping tent, valued at $14.7 million. Fast forward to 2020, and the family secured a full-floor penthouse in Downtown Miami's One Thousand Museum for $24 million, adding another chapter to their ever-evolving real estate portfolio.
