The Greater Dallas area emerges as a frontrunner in the surge of financial job postings nationwide. This trend coincides with increased investment by major financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America in their corporate facilities in the Dallas region, as reported by JLL, a real estate services firm.

Key Growth Areas

Among the cities witnessing the most substantial growth in financial job postings since 2019 are the Dallas suburbs of Plano, Texas, experiencing an 84% increase, and Irving, Texas, with a 76% rise. Following closely is Tampa, Florida, with a notable 64.5% surge.

Top U.S. Markets for Financial Jobs

According to a JLL report analyzing job postings from 2021 to 2023, major U.S. markets with the highest demand for new financial talent include New York, leading with 129,072 postings, followed by Dallas-Fort Worth with 64,191 postings. Other prominent cities include Chicago, Charlotte, and Philadelphia, with significant numbers of financial job postings.
