Galaxy Developers Files Plans for 48-unit Mixed-use Development in South Williamsburg

A new eight-story mixed-use building is set to rise at 330 Wallabout Street in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The site, positioned between Harrison and Union Avenues, is conveniently located just a block away from the Flushing Avenue subway station, which is accessible via the G train. The project is spearheaded by Rafael Rabinowitz of Galaxy Developers.

Building Specifications and Design

The development will stand 94 feet tall and cover a total area of 672,220 square feet. The space allocation includes 506,626 square feet for residential units, 93,403 square feet for community facilities, and 72,191 square feet for commercial purposes. The building will feature 48 residential units, 85 enclosed parking spaces, a commercial loading berth, and a rooftop recreational area. The design of the building will be managed by Fischer + Makooi Architect, the architect of record for this project.

Project Timeline and Site Details

Since the lot is currently vacant, demolition permits are not expected to be necessary. However, the completion date for the project has yet to be determined.
