Foxtrot, a well-known upscale convenience store, has reopened its first location at 23 W. Maple in Chicago’s Gold Coast. The relaunch follows a temporary closure of all 33 stores in April, marking a fresh start for the brand.

In May, the chain was acquired by LaVitola, a former partner, in collaboration with a New York-based investment group. This new ownership group has shifted the company's focus, aiming to enhance its coffee offerings and improve service efficiency.
The relaunch includes plans for additional stores across Chicago. Six new locations are expected, with the Old Town store opening on September 19 at 1562 N. Wells. Additional stores in Wicker Park and other neighborhoods are set to follow.
