Construction has officially moved into the foundation phase for Palma Miami Beach at 600 71st Street in the city's North Beach neighborhood. Developed by Lefferts and designed by Built Form, the 14-story project is being constructed by KAST Construction. The mixed-use development will feature 121 condominium residences, approximately 8,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a structured parking garage, and more than 167,000 square feet of total new construction. KAST Construction recently confirmed that augercast pile installation is underway, marking the beginning of the building's foundation work. The development is also pursuing LEED Gold certification, reflecting a focus on sustainability and energy-efficient construction.
What the Residences Will Offer
Palma Miami Beach will feature fully furnished one- and two-bedroom residences ranging from approximately 405 to 1,342 square feet. Homes are designed with private balconies, high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling impact-resistant glass to maximize natural light. Interior finishes include European-style kitchens equipped with Bosch appliances, stone countertops and backsplashes, contemporary cabinetry, and premium bathroom finishes with frameless glass showers. Each residence will also include an in-unit washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, and energy-efficient climate control systems.
What Amenities Are Planned
Residents will have access to more than 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities designed by Studio Ramirez. The amenity package includes a resort-style pool deck, wellness hot tub, cold plunge, Technogym-equipped fitness center, media and game lounge, outdoor summer kitchen, private resident lounge with indoor and outdoor bar seating, and a double-height attended lobby. Ground-floor retail is expected to activate the street level while complementing the surrounding North Beach neighborhood.
