Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton is planning a new student housing project, borrowing $117.75 million for a 204,000-square-foot building. Designed by HKS Architects, this seven-story building will provide additional on-campus housing.

The project will be financed through 30-year, fixed-rate, tax-exempt debt. Construction is expected to begin in December, with an anticipated opening for the fall 2026 semester.

FAU's Current Student Housing

FAU serves 30,000 students across its six campuses, with 5,000 students currently residing in on-campus housing at the Boca Raton campus. FAU also has satellite campuses in Dania Beach, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Jupiter, and Fort Pierce.
