Final Stages of Construction at 58 Vanderbilt Avenue, Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, is soon to welcome a new residential building as exterior work on 58 Vanderbilt Avenue nears completion. This nine-story project, a collaboration between J Frankl Associates and developer Bruchy Lefkowitz, is set to offer 90 housing units, 23 of which are dedicated to affordable housing.

Project Details

The property, also known as 205 Park Avenue, is situated along Park Avenue between Vanderbilt and Clermont Avenues, close to the southern edge of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Vanderbilt Avenue USA, LLC is the general contractor for the project, which includes 34 parking spaces.

The building's exterior features a distinctive zigzagging massing enclosed in a light gray brick envelope. Tall rectangular windows have been installed, and sections of contrasting red brick are being added to the walls within the pocketed terraces along Park Avenue. Additional red brick accents will soon cover the gaps in the façade on the seventh story.

58 Vanderbilt Avenue is designed with residents' comfort and convenience in mind. Amenities include an enclosed parking garage, bike storage lockers, a virtual doorman, a recreation room, party room, business center, and a rooftop terrace. Each unit is equipped with washers and dryers, intercoms, air conditioning, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes.

The development's location offers easy access to public transportation. The nearest subway station is the G train at the Clinton-Washington Avenue station to the south at the intersection of Clinton and Lafayette Avenues. To the north, residents can access the Brooklyn Navy Yard ferry terminal, offering routes to Manhattan and Queens via the East River.
