Ex WeWork CEO Adam Neumann Targets Miami Worldcenter for New $240M Mixed-use Development

Adam Neumann, the co-founder of WeWork, has shifted his focus to a new endeavor in Miami, where he is involved in the development of Miami Worldcenter. Miami Worldcenter Holdings aims to raise $240 million through a municipal bond sale to fund the expansion. Neumann's family office, represented by 166 2nd Financial Services, is a key player in the development, proposing office and retail spaces within the Worldcenter project. Despite Neumann's involvement, his family office, according to a spokesperson from Flow, is not directly associated with the project.

Block E Promenade Project

One of the projects within Miami Worldcenter that Neumann is involved in is the Block E Promenade. This development, which includes office and retail spaces, is currently seeking approval and is projected to be completed by next year.

Previous Involvement and Ongoing Projects

Neumann’s connection with Miami Worldcenter dates back to at least 2021, with the acquisition of Caoba, a 44-story residential tower, through his real estate startup, Flow. Additionally, Neumann, along with Falcone Group and Merrimac Ventures, is overseeing the construction of a 41-story apartment tower within the Worldcenter, slated for completion this year.
