The construction of 3ELEVEN, a 60-story residential skyscraper at 601 West 29th Street, is now complete. The building was developed by Douglaston Development and designed by FXCollaborative.
The project in numbers: 3ELEVEN is 695 feet tall and has 935 rental units, including 235 designated for affordable housing. The building also has 15,000 square feet of retail space on the podium floors.
The façade: The exterior work on the first floor has been completed, and the sidewalk scaffolding and metal fencing have been removed. This reveals the completed look of the main entrance at the southern corner. Construction is still ongoing on the adjacent building, 606 West 30th Street.
The facilities: The units in 3ELEVEN come in studio to two-bedroom floor plans. They all have wide-plank flooring, designer appliances and fixtures, and solar shades for the floor-to-ceiling windows. The parking garage entrance is located on the southwestern corner of the podium along West 29th Street.
The development has 60,000 square feet of residential amenities, which span several floors. These amenities include multiple resident lounges, coworking spaces, a fitness center with adjacent studios, an outdoor swimming pool, rooftop decks, a children's playroom, music studios, indoor and outdoor dog runs, and bike storage. Residents also have access to Throw Me A Bone, a full-service pet business offering veterinary care and grooming, walking, and boarding services.
