Fashion house Dolce & Gabbana is expanding its reach into the real estate market with its first residential tower in Miami. The 90-story tower, located at 888 Brickell Avenue in Downtown Miami, will be topped with an elaborate gold crown and will be the tallest building in the city once it is completed in 2027.
The project: The tower will have 259 homes, ranging from one- to four-bedroom condos. Each home will be fully furnished and decorated in one of three color palettes: white, black, or gold. The interiors will be designed by Dolce & Gabbana founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
The facilities: The tower will also have a host of amenities, including restaurants, bars, fitness and wellness spaces, and shared offices and meeting rooms. There will also be a 4,000-square-foot pool deck with a 44-foot-long pool and views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and Miami Beach.
The price tag: Condos in the tower will start at around $3.5 million, with the most expensive properties topping more than $35 million.
A new trend: Dolce & Gabbana is not the only luxury brand that is entering the real estate market. Other brands, such as Armani and Bentley, have also announced plans to build residential towers in Florida.
The move by fashion brands into real estate is seen as a way to expand their reach and create a more immersive brand experience for their customers. It is also seen as a way to capitalize on the growing demand for luxury real estate.
Location, location, location: The tower is located in a prime location in Downtown Miami, which is quickly becoming a hotbed for luxury development. The area is home to a number of high-end restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions.
It remains to be seen whether Dolce & Gabbana's fashion cachet will translate into desirable US real estate. However, the brand's strong reputation and established aesthetic could make its tower a popular choice for luxury buyers.
Overall, the Dolce & Gabbana tower is a significant development in the luxury real estate market. It will be interesting to see how it performs and whether it sets a trend for other fashion brands to follow.
