Discovery Life Sciences has opened a new office and laboratory at 200 Exchange St. in Malden, Massachusetts. This facility spans over 53,000 square feet and represents the company’s seventh location in the United States and its third in the Greater Boston area, alongside its existing sites in Woburn and Quincy.
Supporting Pharma and Biotech Industries
The Malden facility is designed to meet the needs of the region's dynamic pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. It will host Discovery's Gentest products and services, focusing on in vitro preclinical studies for drug metabolism and predictive toxicology. Additionally, the facility includes a clean room and cell processing laboratory, bolstering its AllCells offerings, which provide high-quality cell and gene therapy cryo-preserved GMP products on the East Coast.

Discovery’s CEO, Greg Herrema, emphasized the significance of the new facility in advancing therapeutic solutions to improve patient outcomes.
