The mixed-use building at 372 Wallabout Street in the Broadway Triangle section of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is approaching completion. Designed by Diego Aguilera Architects P.C., this five-story structure is 65 feet tall, encompassing 8,100 square feet. The building will include six residential units and a community facility space measuring 2,900 square feet. Situated on a 2,500-square-foot lot, it is located between Throop and Harrison Avenues.
Recent images showcase the building's slender frame, primarily covered in light gray EIFS paneling. The design features a grid of rectangular windows and balconies on the upper levels, while the lower levels highlight light gray brick and tall arched windows. These architectural elements suggest that the community facility could house a church. A setback at the northern corner of the top floor hints at a potential terrace space.
The building includes a double-height annex on its rear side, extending 100 feet deep to the edge of the property. The rear facade is still awaiting its final treatment. Zoning diagrams indicate the six residential units will range in size from 610 to 1,625 square feet, with two apartments per floor from the second to the fifth level.
Residents will have access to nearby subway stations, including the J, M, and Z lines at Lorimer Street and the G train at Flushing Avenue. These transportation options provide convenient access to the surrounding areas.
While an official completion date has not been confirmed, it is expected that construction will be finished before the end of the year.
