A significant milestone was reached for the 19-story multifamily development at 159 Boerum Street in Brooklyn's vibrant East Williamsburg neighborhood, as the construction crews successfully poured the final floor. This promising project, reaching a height of 216 feet, is the brainchild of Slate Property Group in partnership with Avenue Realty Capital and SD Builders and Construction LLC.

The project in numbers: Upon completion, this towering structure will boast a total of 116,000 square feet and house 162 units, with 49 of them designated as affordable housing. The development is a testament to the collaboration and dedication of the teams involved, and it is expected to significantly contribute to the housing needs of the community.

The vision behind the building: Martin Nussbaum, principal of Slate Property Group, expressed gratitude towards the hardworking individuals on the project and emphasized the community's role in shaping the building. He stated that the goal was to deliver an addition to the neighborhood that would make the community and the residents proud.

Design and amenities, a priority: Supervised by Aufgang Architects, the building is set to offer a range of amenities, including a fitness center for health enthusiasts, a welcoming roof deck to enjoy the city views, a parking garage for added convenience, and bike storage facilities. Moreover, setbacks above the 12th and 16th floors will house spacious outdoor terraces, providing residents with a breath of fresh air and open spaces.

Location, location, location: The property's strategic location between Graham Avenue and Humboldt Street situates it within three blocks from the L train at Montrose Avenue subway station, enhancing accessibility and connectivity for the future residents.

Anticipation is high as the construction races towards its completion, expected in the summer of 2025.
